Shocks....
I got a coworker that's willing to give me 30 Motorcraft shocks that he got from someone 5 years ago, it's unknown how long the previous guy had them. He was going to use some for his 90s econoline but the van has been gone for about 2 years. He wont give me part numbers because he wants ALL of them gone from his storage locker. My question is, do shocks go bad after sitting for a long time? If not would you guys want some? I'd only take these if I knew I could sell them off after I get what I need since I need shocks too.

The shock P#s should be on the shocks.
Most Ford shocks fit many applications. yrs - models - etc.
I was just cross referencing shocks for my Bronco and dozens of similar applications were cross-referenced.
Pick them up and place an ad on Craigslist.
In fact, I bought the wrong shocks for my Bronco, and now I have
to sell them on Craigslist.

So shocks don't really go bad besides the seals meaning, it would be easy to spot?

I will get the shocks, but it's going to take some time because the guy will be on a business trip all this coming week. But I will make a note.
