I figured some here might be interested in seeing these. My wife and I went to watch my uncle compete in an antique tractor pull yesterday in Bolivar MO.
He runs a couple Case tractors, this is him on the small one.
Glad you had pictures of some "good" tractors. I'm still trying to find my grandpa's CC. We had a couple DCs but they sure didn't look like that. What's the setup on that one? That class is sure a lot fancier than some I've seen.

There weren't many stock ones, for sure. I smelled race gas a couple times.
I'll have to ask my uncle for the specifics, I appreciate the machinery but know next to nothing about them for now.
You know, I'm 62 was born in PA and lved on the west coast all my life but this is just one more reason I always wanted to live in our farm land colder areas of the US. I know you mit not know what I'm talking about but for those who changed and then want back I salute.

That's a WC, and it's not real faithfully restored, if that's what it was meant to be.
It's got the wrong exhaust and air filter, and the battery (six-volt system) must have been moved forward for pulls. That frame at the front is added, of course.
Ours was a WD, which is the same tractor except having spread front wheels. It pulled a Roto Baler for forty-plus years. It made countless thousands of small round bales, each weighing about eighty pounds. My job was to follow the baler and tie the loose end of the twine as the bales were spit out the back. Later, I would be the one to hoist them onto the wagon for collection. The hard work didn't hurt us.
Great pictures ! I restore old tractors (pure stock orignal) and don't pull with any of mine. I'm worried about breaking stuff. I love to go to the antique pulls and don't miss one when they are anywhere close. Good people and good fellowship with tractor folks.
