I would like to wish a special thanks two of my "brothers". Frank (Franko72) and Mark (Tailgate77478) came over yesterday to help me with my Comp Cam 910 valve spring upgrade and valve seal replacement. Mark brought his wife's awesome camera to document the procedure. We had a great time visiting as the "work" was being done.
Please rep these guys for helping out in true brother spirit.
I still need to put the glow plugs back in, torque everything back down, and install the valve covers.
After Mark gets the pics back to me, I will place them in my Photobucket account and add a little write up to the procedure using my fabbed valve spring compressor. I have a few more tweaks to do to the tool to make it more user friendly, but it allowed spring replacement on all the valves without removing, or moving, any other additional parts.
I had a great time Roland, & Thanks for lunch.
As you have said before, Its not work when your helping out a brother.
It was great meeting Mark. See you both this weekend for dinner.
I had a great time, and of course, learned a lot from Roland and Frank. I will work hard at getting these pics out. I may attempt to do a write-up with pics, but Roland will have to be the editor because I will be putting in a lot of "this doohickey" and "use this thingy" verbiage in. As in, "if you're not a mechanic, this will make perfect sense." I'm just brave enough to attempt stupid feats.
