Looking for something....
OK what I want to do is replace my side bed rails and rear tailgate cap with aluminum diamond plate rails. I have seen them in polished aluminum but what I was is the black aluminum like some truck boxs can come in. I have run a few searches but have come up emptied handed on these. I am also having trouble finding side bed rails for a 5'6 bed that are diamond plate for the 06 model year. I can find them for the 09-11 years but nothing for the 04-08's.
I am starting to think that I will have to get the polished and have it powder coated black but wanted to check with you guys first before I went out and did this.

Drew I've seen what you're talking about, but my Google searchin this morning didn't give me any bolt on results.
Looks like you might have to get some powercoating down, which honestly would be badass. I think I'd personally go with the matte finish, as opposed to high gloss.

Has to be the matte finish otherwise it would look strange with my gas cap and the future wheels I will be getting.
I see the black boxes all the time so you would think someone would make the rails this way too but as I am finding with many upgrades I want I have to put a personal custom touch too it to get exactly what I want.

I think I may have found what I wanted but I can only find it for the 09-11 f-150's. So my question now is does anyone know if there are any major differences between the 04-08's and 09-11's bed rails. I plan to go to a dealership and compare them side by side but wanted to see if someone knew much about it before I went to one later this week.
