i am rebuilding a big block ford 460 motor... its gonna be bored .030 with a .495 lift cam and all that fun stuff... and i want to put roller rockers on it... so then i heard i need to get different push rods... and i can not find the ones i need... can someone give me the name of them? or even who sells them? or are roller rockers just a bad idea?
You should not need new pushrods for roller rockers if you use the same type rocker as the heads have now. The two main types of rockers found on late model engines are pedestal and stud mount, but I'm no big block expert so I'm not sure what a stock 460 has.
You would be fine running them. Only thing I suggest is upgrade to hardened pushrods stock length they worked great on my 460 I had d3 heads but there very close to dove heads

You always need to check pushrod length when changing anything or having any machine work done. Hardened pushrods are only needed if you are using guide plates. I think Scorpion has a set for heads that aren't machined and there are kits to convert to full rollers available as well if you don't want to get your heads machined.
i plan to use guides.... my heads are dove they should work right? but no but the only machining i need done to them is for them to fit over my .030 cylinders that ima have bored
Depends on the rockers you use. You might need to machine down the pedestals some on DOVE heads. You will have to mock it up and check out the geometry to see if it will work with the parts you have. They do make flat guide plates for the BB if the rockers hit them. Get a adjustable pushrod, find your length and go from there.
