I have a few "daily drivers" my f250, which gets around 20 mpg, jeep grand cherokee diesel which gets slightly over 30 mpg, and my yamaha xt 600 that gets around 65 mpg.
Those figures are calculated by hand, and an easy foot!
There are three daily drivers with me using two and my wife one. Her 1998 Sable gets 22-23 mpg, my 2004 2.3L Focus gets 32-33 mpg and my 1991 Mazda 626 LX gets 33-35 mpg.
My 2004 Taurus gets 22-24mpg combined average city / highway driving. On the flats on the freeway it can get up to 30mpg according to the on-board instant ecomomy computer. I also have a 91 F-250 with a 460 that is bad, and my 76 F-100 with a built-up BB 402 (.60 over 390) is even worse!
My DD is a 98 dodge stratus, used to be my dads, it gets between 27 to 31 combined usually. 2.4L 4cyl 150 hp.
Used to have an 86 escort, carburated, sometimes would see 40-42 if i kept it around 60. That car was the best though, I could do 90 and still get 32-35!
My B2300 (ranger clone) can get close to 30 MPG hyw. Unless you turn on the A/C, then it drops to around 25. Mainly due to 5th gear becoming useless.......
My 2000 Lexus ES 300 (present from grandpa, I was driving the volvo 740 my parents brought me home in before he gave it to me) gets 17-20/22-25ish city/highway, depending on how much fun I wanna have and/or how pissed off I am.
