Great looking truck, I wish some of our classics lasted long enough out here with all the salt they use, anything older than 20 are mostly all gone!
Thanks!
Heck they dont even last 20 around here LOL,
In the winter our roads are a gleaming, shimmering white. covered with salt.
The 1st one I picked up in North Dakota, never seen salt. There was just a tab bit of surface rust under the mat on the drivers side but the floors still solid. The second one came from Minnesota and the cab and front clip are shot but the frame is ok and the box is good. just a little rust that needs to be fixed.
so far to get her on the road all I need to get is fenders and a few other parts like window seals and stuff. The fenders were shot on both trucks.
I want to do a power disc brake and power steering conversion but I am working on a really tight budget so I am not sure if they are going to happen yet.
I am going to run the 302 and 3 on the tree for a couple years until I can get the big block built then I will swap them out.
Good evening Wisconsin and friends! Glad to see a little action from Wisconsin chapter member's, Keep it up and have some fun here. Everyone have a fantastic thirsty Thursday.

So I got a general question. Where in Southeast WI can I get my Excursion off road for some mild fun with the kids? Years ago, I used to do it all the time in Arizona but have not found a place here yet. The kids would love to do some wheelin' since they never have before.
Well spit. Wasn't able to mow the grass last weekend. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening I have college classes, rush home Thursday and wolf down some dinner, fire up the John Deere, get 1 lap around the yard and the sky opens up on me. Oh well, night off I guess. Time for beer.
