Evening Big Ern, I'm guessing your name is Ernie?

Sounds like a nice haul to Chicago! Whats your daily driver?

Yep, its ernie.

Daily driver is a 2006 freightliner columbia pulling a flatbed.
What I drive when I am home is a 91 F150 rusty plowtruck.
I have a 70 F100 that I am restoring right now, just need to find a cherry picker so I can proceed.

Oh and there is no such thing as a nice haul to Chicago, I hate the traffic here lol

I'm 30 miles from NYC, and it can up to 2 hours to get in Manhattan if all the conditions are just right...not!

Hi Ernie. Where in NW WI are you? I have a cherry picker I can bring over (if you are close enough) and we can get the engine out of your '70.

Burnett county, Siren.
the problem is its not just the motor, I need to pull the motor, tranny then take the cab off and put the good cab on after I paint the frame. I am also doing this outside and am only home on the weekends. I need a picker for a few weeks.

Well Heck thanks for the offer!! I have a few things to do first like get the grill shell out. unbolt the engine and tranny, and get the cab unbolted first but If I still dont have one I will get a hold of you.

Yeah it really sucks right now, I lost the garage i was using to work on this(people moved) and now I have to be outside. not to bad but the weather has been so crappy lately.

If anyone wants to see the old girl here is my build thread.........
