Kearny huh.... the Town that Kennecott mining company built, we played the Ray Bearcats in HS football... I went to San Man, been to the Gila many many times cat fishing. my wife is from Mammoth and i know the San Pedro river valley very well. Winkelman, Hayden etc. It's nice to have a local guy in the group
Ah I remember playing San Man as well, but I'm sure it was two different decades hahaha. I usually have to tell people I live near globe for them to understand where I live, and they still have that confused look lol.
Man that was way back when! I played for 06-09 haha. Bearcat Pride! I tried to stay away from that hole. I wanna live past 60 lol. I didn't do too bad. I wound up at the railroad pulling that stuff to the smelter and what not. They never did fill it back up with fish. I guess they kinda just gave up on it.
Hey Travis! did they ever find out who swiped all the RR track out in Yavapai?
had to laugh when I read that, a few months ago an investigator from the rail road showed up at my house looking for my son, (his truck is registered in my name) he had tried to sell some "old" rail at the scrap yard and they wouldn't buy it. they just call the rail road when any rail, spikes or plates show up. so anyhow I gave him my son's address and he went and talked to him. the "old" rail he had was some light track not the big stuff that was stolen, the inspector approved it for scrap.

Ah, thats good! it had to be someone with a big setup to move rail that heavy.
we have someone here in north tucson swiping storm drain grates from the road that would mess your day up if you ran into that!
