Mornin' all.

Hope everyone has a safe day today.

I have a question, and I know that i don't own a Ford, but I figured someone here might know what the issue is. I have tried the Chevy forums, and there forums suck. Nobody is very helpful. I have had questions sit there for weeks, with not one response!

My question is for my 77c20 Camper special, the gas guage will read 1/2 tank when I am parked or at a light. But as soon as i drive, it moves around. Sometimes going down to almost the E mark. Esp when i am accelerating. I figured this was just he gas sloshing around in the 20g tank. But, i was wondering, could this make me "run out" if its sloshing and moving away from the float or what not?? Am I sucking up all the dirty fuel crap in the bottom of hte tank when that happens? I dont know anything about this, so this is my novice guess...... Would I need a new sending unit/float??

Thanks again guys!! Have a safe weekend!!

66: I know!!!!! I wanted a 66 just to avoid the stupid gov. regulations. I bet all the jets that all the rich eletist have couldn't pass AZ emissions

Matt, It's probably the float that is making the gauge act up. my son's dakota does the same thing.

and, dont bang on the rich elitist.... they run the world.
