Vibration

My 69 F-100 runs rough/vibration when stopped and in drive(AT). If I put it in neutral or park the vibration drops dramatically. I've checked for vacuum leaks (no), replaced the spark plugs, rotor and cap, fuel filter. Someone mentioned that it could be the u-joints. Any thoughts? Thanks to all.

can't be the u-joints if it vibrates when the truck is not moving.

If it was the u joints, it wouldn't vibrate unless you were moving. Is your idle speed too low?

I've been having the same issue that I've tried to tackle for two years now. Checked vacuum and it is solid 15" at idle in gear. Was not able to find any vacuum leaks. Engine/tranny mounts are fine. Dropped in new carburetor. Swapped out the harmonic balancer. Tuned in timing and A/F mixture. Then I checked the cylinder compression and noticed that two passenger side cylinders have 90 lbs compression in comparison to 120 on the rest...probably a sticky valve. That could be my shake issue.
