I just replaced my factory upper fuel filter cap that cracked with a new aluminum cap. I seen the factory cap had two small holes in the groove below the o ring. The new cap didn't have these holes in it. I'm wondering what those holes r for. An do I need to drill two small holes in the new cap I have.
I can't say I've ever inspected my cap closely, but I don't recall noticing any holes in it. I also can't think of any reason they'd need holes there. I think the new cap you have will be fine.

You have to have 25 posts before you can do that...I think. I know you need 25 before you can PM. You could always join your state's chapter to help you crank up the number of posts you have.
