How often do you...

...browse through the other forums when the activity here is low?

I find myself between 04-08 and 09+ pretty much all the time. Even though they are the newer model year, a lot of their issues/chats/etc apply to our trucks also.

At times I wander to the Excursion forum since two close friends have lifted 7.3L Ex's.
Also, I dream to one day own a F250 CC diesel, and I head to the 6.7L forum to see what the big guys are up to.

I ask because
1) I'm a touch bored right now
2) I have actually learned quite a bit from browsing the other forums. Most of it doesn't apply to our trucks, but I have learned of some pretty useful products from the SuperDuty guys.

Just thought I'd throw this out there and see if anyone else has ADD like me and wanders around FTE as much as I do.
Cheers!

Thumbs up

I spend time in this 04-08 section and the 73-79 section as I have one ....
.... and while I forget about them somethimes, I try to peruse the 4.6/5.4 motor section and the 335 series engine forums.

I also have two T-Birds, a '92 Sport 302 and a '95 LX 4.6 as well as a '01 Merc GM and if really slow, I check the Scoobie forum as we have a '03 Forester my wife drives ....
.... then there's the '97 Gold Wing Trike and '85 Gold Wing Aspencade that get attention ....
.... and I have two forums devoted to old Brit bikes like Nortons, Triumphs, etc. I have a '74 Triumph T150V Trident as well.

I even check out some trailer forums like home made utility / camping trailers, teardrops (I sometimes think I'ld like to build one) and etc.

I don't hit all everyday, but all are a wealth of information and they keep the mind working, and every now and again ....
.... I'm able to help someone or make a new friend or find someone near me on them. Got to visit Richard and his Bronco just up the road one day, found him here. He lives up at Stelles Tavern.

Damn ....
.... Henrico, Va? You're only about 100 miles away?

I spend a lot of time on the newer forums, I like to hear what's going on with the technology on these new models. I can't justify trading my 06 F150 yet, It's only got 11,200 miles on it, weekend toy. And I'm enjoying that no payment syndrome. Maybe by the time the next generations F-series come out.

I look at our year mostly. An the 09 and newer some, I like to read about the new engines. I do check the 6.7L forum some as my dad has a 2011 F350 Crew cab dually with the new 6.7. I can tell him of any issues or mods other guys are doing to keep him ip to date.

I check in here every now and then. The '09 and up too. I keep thinking I'll see the guy who bought my '07 post up someday. Doesn't look like it's gonna happen though.

The majority of my time is spent in the SD/HD, audio/video, towing, 6.2, general discussion, and Indiana chapter forums.

I hit several others on occasion too. There's just so much info here you'd be nuts not to check more of this place out.

I usually spend my time here in the 04-current F150 forums, the Arizona Forum, the Texas forum, and just because I work with Ford F350-450's, I spend some time over there.

I spend most of my time in this forum and the 87-96. I also look at the 09 and up and the 80-86 forums daily. Plus I go on other sites for our army truck and gun forums as well. Plus one for dirt bikes. Its sites like FTE that make the internet an invaluable resource. I try to learn so I dont feel like im wasting my life in front of a glowing screen.

Mostly the '04-'08, De. and Md. sections. Every now and again I'll trail off to the other sections. I actually spend more time on another forum site devoted to F150's

Most of my time is devoted to the 6.0 forum, have an 04 350 KR. I come here to the 04-08 F150 forum on occasion as I also have an 06 150(wife's truck). I just bought the 350 about a year ago and try to keep up with what may be going wrong, how to maintain, etc. since I am trying to do most of the service on it myself to help with the overall cost of the truck. In this forum I am just trying to keep myself educated with issues and the solutions before anything happens. I've had my 150 for about 3 years now and it has been a great truck. The cost of it is lower than the 350 so most of the service goes through shops. The local tire shop I purchased my Yokohamas from has a lifetime rotation and balancing for free so I just have them do my oil changes and air filter changes when needed. This is a great site for ford truck owners. I look here for advice and to see what my be happening with other 5.4's that I can avoid. Being here reminds me that I have to make my appointment for the recent recall.

I'm with you Chandler, while there is much more activity " up there " since the '11s came out it still isn't bustling with activity like the old 6.0 diesel forum. My ADD kicks in just like yours Hope you guys don't mind me stopping by I've been up since 5:30, on my 3rd 20 oz coffee, had 2 dips, been on FB, F150online, here, 09-up and the 6.0 forums while I wait for the family to get up lol.
EDIT: Question for the guys that have been over @ F150online, is it just me or do some of those guys seem a little condescending? Not alot of them, but enough. Thats why I spend most of my time here, not as much attitude. Not looking to start any trouble or pick a fight either, just a simple question.
