18's or 20's?

since the 22's didn't work out,

i've found some wheels i like, the incubus 518 recoil. i think they will look pretty good.

there is 18x8.5 or 20x9 the 18's would be a 285/65/18 whereas the 20's would have a 285/55/20 overall height of both are less than an inch over stock

i'm assuming i want the 8x170 w 12mm offset?

will these stick out much at that?

available tires will be e load rated, but the 18's seem to be 3600 vs 3300 on the 20's

thoughts or opinions

20's are the biggest that (to me) look good on our trucks. Low profile tires on an 8,000lb truck looks.... odd .... to me. I almost bought an Ex with 22's on it because of the price, but was immediately lining up "normal" shoes for that. Both my F250 & Ex are diesels riding on 16" wheels, and 18" will be the max. My truck isn't worked hard very often, but still, my purchases lean much more towards functionality rather than cosmetics. I'd go with the 18s and go with tires that can handle more load.
