Need Help!!! steering column
Can anyone help? I had a hard start from turning the key.Eventually it just quit starting the truck,Key turns,power goes on, And nothing! Is it that the column needs replacing,switch on the column.I did pull the column twice and seemed to temporarliy fix or re-aline things but the last time that i did it,it did not do it. help

under the steering wheel and blinker switch is a piece called the ignition actuator. it connects the key tumbler to the ignition switch. it is most likely broke. part costs $13 from the dealer.
