Patience is a virtue you need to learn, take into consideration that 99% of people on here that own these trucks are people who work day in and day out in them and are sometimes to tired to sit down and type on a computer at night. I know I am most of the time.
On top of your impatience your title is not very helpful, it may seem comical or cute, but anyone that may have the information you desire may not think to look in a "I need some help". be specific.
Welcome to FTE if your patient its a very helpful site.

Thanks for your help. Im glad you could share your knowledge with me. When I see a post that reads "I need some help" Im usually one of the first to see if I can lend a hand. Isn't that part of being of a site where you can ask question?
Very true, why do you think I stopped in?
But you also have to consider that there are people that don't and just cruise and don't stop in every single thread to see if they know.
Also to help with the information you request, there are a lot of people (specially in this sub forum) that pay others to fix their trucks instead of doing it their selves. Just think, how many threads are there on people wanting to know about mufflers so they know what to ask for at an exhaust shop?
I'm not saying there isn't people here that won't know or that don't work on their own truck but think of the general population.
To help further with your question, as I do not have the information desired, have you tried searching?
Has anyone ever greased the idler arm or other streering parts that may require it?
There arent any grease fittings on it. I talked to a guy and they said they didnt put the grease fittings on it til a later year model. The reason im changing it out is because i found a good deal on all the parts and the idler arm comes with the package. Ive even went on the ford site and put in the vin# and it still doesnt specify the bolt pattern. It still gives Two choices of bolt patterns.
Have you jacked up the front end and checked for play? Just because things squeak doesn't mean it's toast.
All the bushing under the front end are pretty trashed. It even makes a popping sound sometimes on top of the squeaking. I just want to do it all at once and get it all squared away. There is a little bit of play. its not extremely loose but it is a little bit.
Does poping sounds like ball joints?
I did ball joints on a 98 250 light duty that had a poping coming from the ball joints and they fell apart upon removal.
And I apologize if I came off as being a smart *** earlier, it happens when I drink. Which is why I hardly ever do.

HAHA! Yes you did come across that way, but its all good. I thought I made a mistake joining this board. It may be the ball joints. Im changing those out too.
