98 Explorer Power Mirror Problem
Has anyone tried to reattach the mirror assembly to the electric driver? There are 5 attachment points - all plastic ball and socket joints. I'm able to attach the two that connect to the driver motors, but I can't force the middle joint to couple together. If I put much more pressure on the mirror I'll probably break it.
The problem happened when the ball part of the ball and socket joint in the middle of the mirror broke off. I reattached it using Plastic Weld and it seems pretty secure. Now if I can only get the mirror back on again......
