Throttle Cable Replacement

Any idea how difficult it is to change the throttle cable on an F-350 with carb? It's just not smooth and doesn't return to idle unless you pop the gas pedal - everything at the carb looks smooth, so I'm guessing its the cable. I tried to get at it to lube it but I think it may be just as easy to replace????

PS - what happened to the search engine = it looks like it's changed and not nearly as good as before - maybe I'm missing something...

Throttle Cable Replacement

It's not very hard - 3 screws should be it. To check, pop the cable end off the ball on the carb and see which one is binding. They cost about $50.
