I am asking this question for a friend. I dunno if this is the right place or not but Guy got some running boards with lights in them. Where do you go about splicing the wires in the lights on the running boards light up with the dome light. When the door opens and everything. What color wire to look for and where to look for it. Its for a 2003 F150 SuperCrew.
I would have a look under the truck at the sides and see if the wiring is there for the running board lights....I think it may be.
If not, the main power for the running board lights comes from the interior light relay in the fuse panel under the dash. The wire should be black with light blue stripe. It might be hard to find there but it should be there.
