Valve Cover??

Valve Cover??
OK so I took my valve cover off my 83 f350 with a 460. I painted them and got all the old gasket out. they seem to be in good shape and and "crimped" edges. I put the new rubber gasket on one and when I get to the last two bolts are just off a little. So should I just manipulate them? or try something else?

Flip the gasket all around to make sure you have it installed correctly. If that's ok, the gasket may need to be "stretched" a little bit for the bolts to fit. It should not be off so much that you have to whittle on the gasket holes though. I would take them back if that's the case.
