The owner's guide in mine says 150K mile transmission flush and does not mention severe duty.
My complaint is that the oil change interval is not written in stone anywhere. So I'll assume t hat as long as one performs all maintenance within the mileage / time limits posted in the owner's guide and has good records, then Ford can't say squat if it fails.
