sub and amp install 98 F150

Greetings all,
I have a 98 F150 xcab, I want to install two 10"subs and an amp, I am hoping to keep the factory head unit and tap into the wires, I know it can be done, they did it a few years back on my GMC but I dont know what they did, can any one tell me how this can be done?
Thanks

I've seen a under seat box for 2 10s. It is down firing. I had 2/8s in my 97 F150 excab. they were under the big seat. I put my amp under the other side. You will need a interface to hook up your factory radio to your amp.

Thanks Lariat97, so this can be done, where can I get the interface you speak of? Is it a cable that plugs into my radio and goes to the input of my amp?

Crutchfield will have it. Any local stereo shop should have one. I think you will have to use shallow subs. I have a 4 inch lift kit for a 97 rear seat. I think it fits a 98 also. I'll take $30 for it. It is painted to match the brackets under your seat.
