99' - Installing B&M transmission cooler

We recently bought a larger travel trailer and I'd like to install a bigger transmission cooler (I do have the tow package). I'm looking at the the B&M 70266 cooler. The installation guide says not to install with the fittings pointed down. The stock cooler has the fittings pointed down. Does anyone have any experience with this or see a problem with the fittings down? B&M says with the fittings pointing down may create an air pocket in the cooler resulting
in reduced cooling efficiency.

Thanks in advance.
