I have just purchased a 2006 crew cab F350 long bed. i bought it for a good price and knew it would need some work.
so here goes......i had the codes read and i have, p0261,p0264,p0267,p0270,p0273,p0276,p0279,p0282. all have same description saying circuit low over every cylinder. i was told by a friend it might be a harness or a ficm??? does anyone know how i can test to see what part is actually throwing all the codes?
Welcome to FTE Ambrose. When you get a lot of injector codes like that, the FICM is usually a good place to start. Take a look at the 6.0 tech folder sticky at the top of the forum and you'll find the testing procedure, along with a lot of other good stuff
wow thanks guys i appreciate the help, i will try to test out the ficm tomorrow afterwork and let you know how it goes. and special thanks to blade35 for the link.
if it does turns out to be the ficm, i see alot of stuff about having it rebuilt insted of buying a new one. what do you guys recommend? i see that circuit board medics.com does them for $325 and apparently makes them better than a new one......

you got it rebuilt one has the problem fixed if you can go a couple days without it thats the best to send it out
way cheaper too
think about a scangaugeII forr your truck good to watch alot of stuff on these 6.0 it does FICM and a ton more
all 6.0 needs to be monitored
160.00 from auto zone just plug into obdII port and they may have it in stock
yes the voltage was low when i tested it, its already off, in the box, and will be on the way to be getting repaired tomorrow. thanks again everyone for all of your input.
