Brake interchange?
1985 f250 4x4 6.9 diesel c-6
both are full floating axles.
Are the brake components, especially rear drums/hardware, interchangeble.
Parting out the 6.9, engine blown, and need rear brakes on the 95.

Drums.
Anything else, whether it's shoes, hardware, and especially wheel cylinders, I would never re-use. It's just not worth it. Shoes, hardware, and wheel cylinders are not expensive by anyone's standards. If you're going to go through the trouble of replacing the parts, just get new ones.
I have no idea what parts will actually interchange. It depends on what axles the trucks have. The 1995 has a Sterling 10.25" axle, but the 1985 could either be a Dana 70 or a Sterling. Even if they were both the same axle, 10 years is a lot of time for little things to change.

I think I will take your advise and stay all "new".
