Is keeping up with the injector pulse width helpful at all?
Does anybody monitor the engine load? I've been watching it to try to get a grasp the load that sends the EGT to the limit. What I've seen is that the low engine loads raise the EGT temps and higher loads lower the EGT temps. Is this just something that I've caught at the right time? I would have thought higher the load the higher the EGTs.
Well I guess I have it covered then. I have my analoge isspro egt, tft, and turbo gauges and I have my insight showing ect/eot, alt and ficm. I still have 1 function to fill.
The insight ficm alert was factory set to 42 volts. A couple times starting the truck it has dropped to 42 just for a split second then rest if the time its betwen 45-47 vs. Is this normal?

Thanks guys. Its a pain in the butt to get my insight to come on koeo. I did it when I 1st hooked it up and set it up but since I think I only got it on 1ce. I hate having to leave the truck idel to change a setting or something. The only thing I'm not liking about the insight is not wanting to come on with key on, and its pretty slow for todays standards. Looking at a coupke seconds to move screen to screen.
I don't know what model insight you have , but my startup screen comes on about 6 seconds after key is turned on. Moving from screen to screen is instant.
