95 flasher problem

95 flasher problem

On my 95 f-350 my turn signals will begin to flash normally, then after 4 or 5 flashes it will start to flash real fast like one of the bulbs it out, but both front and back signals are flashing, this happens on both sides, and then will go back to normal, then back to fast, im baffled, thanx

You may want to replace the flasher to start out ...

swap your turn signal and hazard flashers and see if the problem stays or follows the flasher

thanx for the welcome, when u say replace the flasher, u mean the solenoid?

Pull the cover to the fuse panel , you will see a round aluminum flasher . Replace it , & see what happens ...

The flasher for the 4 ways is on the back of the panel ...

no the flashers are mounted back to back on the fuse pannel. just swap them and see if the problem changes

I don't know about being resolved but I had the same problem. It was fun for a while to see what "beat" the flashers were going to take when you turned on the signal. But, for $2.98 I got a new flasher and it fixed the problem. It is a very high probability it is the problem and a low investment.
