Hey ratsmoker or anyone with a computer dyno, can you tell me about how much horsepower I will have after this rebuild on a 390 conversion? Here is what I have done to the engine:
390 crank C1ae with c7ae-b rods
Bored .030 with H304p's should be about 9.5:1
Standard heads c8ae-h (about 70 cc ) rebuilt but not ported
Melling cam .514 lift Intake/exhaust with 310 dur (224 at .050)
True roller timing chain and comp cam roller tip rockers
Edelbrock performer 390 intake
Holley 670 street avenger
Electronic Ignition pertronics set up and Msd Ignitor box
C6 tranny with shift kit and Daaco 2500 stall
Aluminum driveshaft( no carrier bearing anymore)
3.5:1 9" (still open)
Anyone know what this is putting out?? This is going in my 69 f100.
Need a little more precise info to make the dyno as accurate as can be. Valve opening and closing event degrees are the best. If you don't have this info I will make a good guess.
If you mean the separation on the cam lobes I believe it was 110 degrees but I dont have the cam card handy(across town with truck) Otherwise make a guess, your guess would be much better than anyone I would give.
