Love my FORD TRUCK! Will never have another brand of truck. No major issues with mine, hell no minor ones either. I'm a technician at a Lexus dealer and I work on $60-$100k vehicles all day long. Doesn't matter what brand or how much they cost, they all have some issues. I agree with the previous posts-if you don't like it, get rid of it!

Up until a few years ago, we never had another brand vehicle period. My wife wanted a minivan and Ford stopped making them. We traded her loaded Escape Limited in on a Honda Odyssey. Please don't come down on me too much for buying a foriegn vehicle...at least it was built on US soil.

How dare you buy non-merican.

Come on, this thread has failed to deliver the attacks that were expected...so far, so I had to deliver something.

Anymore, the lines seem completely blurred between American domestics and foreign auto manufacture part origins that it just seems ignorant to debate it any longer.

In my opinion and experience (albeit a short one) with this new F-350 6.7 is that it is probably the best diesel trucks out there with the 6.7 engine being top notch.

I bought the 2009 F-150 when it was first redesigned. I had a few issues. For those of you who upgrade to what you consider "THE NEWEST OR BEST" then you should by golly realize that there are going to be a few issues (computer, engine components, etc) which will have to be worked out.

Every vehicle out there is produced at a factory on an assembly line...there are going to be issues whether it is a new design or an old one. I believe that Ford has done a good job of testing this new engine.

Am I completely satisfied with the Truck...well, yes and no...there are a few things that **** me off (doors not sealing well, the eyeglass pos not aligning properly, etc) but I will tell you something, if I want to hook a line to the bottom of my house, I can pull the darn thing off the foundation.

For those of you who hate the 6.7....carry your **** down to the dealer and get rid of it.

End of rant.
I got my 2011 srw crew cab 4x4 xlt lariat fx4 f350 back in February and only have 2600 miles on the thing. It sets in a heated garage and is clean 99% of the time. I do pull a trailer now and again that's only 5-k OR SO. And yes it's overkill but no big deal to me. I have to say I think this truck is the only way to "fly" its the bomb.

I have had not one problem with anything and YES I know its only 2600 miles but its a nice truck. It has unreal power, rides nice, comfort level is all that. for a sticker of over 64-k it should be, but no other trucks have the style, grace, performance, and bold looks like these f series ford's.

I just purchased a 2011 gmc for the business and I gotta say wow they are much cheaper all around and yes also to buy! I guess being the owner I have made the right decision in the ford and the next service truck will not be a gm no matter what the price is.

I hope the f150 I am looking at will be as dependable and comfortable as the f350.

OK, I had a rusty bolt or two on the frame,(heard someone crying about that) it's not rusty anymore. I just laugh at the guys here also that want to trash the trucks they have acquired. Its not a coffee table guys its a work horse. HA, if it was a horse it would also have a lame spell now and again.

All in all ford has made a great piece in the F-series line up IMHO...

There are definately some people with problems with there truck. But there are some people that are blessed (cursed) with being overly sensitive to there vehicle. My brother has never been happy with a single vehicle he has ever owned. I on the other hand like to get in and drive. I feel sorry for the people who can't enjoy there F350 because it is by far the best truck I have ever owned and still get excited everytime I do drive it.

As it relates to the Subaru Forester....it ranks second.

The wife drives one and loves it BUT.....

In 5 years it has (65K):
1. Had the radio/cd player replaced twice.
2. Had catalytic converter replaced.
3. Had some emissions sensor replaced twice.
4. Was leaking oil from some valve which was replaced.
5. Just last week had the door handle fall off.

Fortunately had extended warranty. Covered all but number 5. That is $250 for the handle and $150 to paint it.

She still loves it but I do not. Point is I don't necessarily put a lot of faith in these surveys.

Maybe I should go to one of their forums and start ranting...

Great rant, I completely agree with you. I bought mine in April of this year, just passed 4,000 miles, love the way it pulls and handles with my trailers, and not an issue worth mentioning yet. A great truck!

I have always said "If it ain't a Ford it ain't a truck". I have had 2 GM's and NO Dodges. I always come back to Ford.... I love my new truck and expect a few bumps in the road for a completely redesigned truck. This is the first vehicle I have ever ordered from the factory and it is exactly what I wanted, the wife did like the King Ranch but I did not want to go 6 or 7 thousand more......

Too funny ADCO. I'm sure if Ford were to buy back some of these POS trucks for what they paid for them there would be quite a few coming back.
Having to eat up to 10K or therabouts to get rid of new truck with nothing but problems isn't that easy to swallow.

How about this for an idea? Maybe Ford could fix these trucks once and for all. How bout dem apples?
