John
Wow John, that was a quick come back for you! It only took a day... so you couldn't get a hold of the grandkids for help again huh? I see you are still using the same attempted insult..... pretty sad!
those Harbor Freight engine stands are OK for small blocks, but not what I would use for a FE, they bow down with that much weight. But that is just me
Have 4 FE's hanging on Harbor Freight stands right now. No issues. I use the 1000lb models.
I bought mine in May of 1996, and just sold it last month. It was used weekly every summer during the drag boat race seasons from 96- 2008, I would race on the weekends, and pull the engine during the week for rebuild, it was a blown Alcohol Olds 468, which weighed about 750lbs. The casters are steel, ball bearing, and it rolled quite easily. Rotating the block is easy if you get it balanced properly. My FE was on it for a week for build up, back in November of 2010, and was actually much easier to manipulate then the Olds Engine. Which is no big surprise. I sold it for what I paid for it after 15 years, a good investment as far as I see it.
