trouble lights

i just posted about my ABS light staying on....i figured out its the right front wheel speed sensors. i hav'nt replaced it yet. ($123) yesterday my oil temp gauge went a little haywire. it dropped to nothing then flucuated up and down with the light flashing. has done it twice since. do you think they can be related at all? if not any ideas why this gauge is acting up? thanks

My problem was with oil pressure gauge. it would drop all the way down, then up again, multiple times. no rhyme or reason. replaced sending unit. still did it. bouncing up and down multiple times. seemed like a loose wire. then..... massive failure. truck quit on highway and now won't start. with belt off, starter off in nuetral engine will only turn 30 degrees each way (by hand) then hits with a "spongy feel". 2006 F-250 v10.
So check it out asap. don't want you to end up in my boat. may or may not be the same thing?

I am going to post my problem in the v10 section to see if i get any hits on the problem

Like i said, may or may not be related. But I read your post and thought I should tell u my experience. I think u can put a mechanical pressure gauge on to check the pressure. Also mine is an 06 which has problems with carbon buildup on the plugs which might have caused my problem.
Also I"ve read on here that guys have had problem with the screen in oil pan getting clogged.
I have not discovered what caused my problem yet. Hopefully today or tomorrow I will know. Hopefully I'm not looking at a new engine.

Not 100% certain yet. Using a scope found a bent valve with chunks of metal on top. I think it was clogged screen possibly.....
