I have to put in a plug for the Jordan controller. I have had this controller for 5 years and I like it better than the pendulum based controllers like the Tekonshas.
The Jordan is cable actuated, not inertia activated (like Tekonsha). It also has an ammeter to show how much current the brakes are pulling. If a brake magnet wire breaks, then you will see the drop in current and know you have a problem.
Another plus is the owner, Jordan Pokrinchak, who is very helpful in answering questions or resolving any problems you might have with the controller or braking system. I have had a lot of brake problems with my Dutchman 5th wheel (piece of junk) that Jordan helped me track down.
The controller is a little more expensive but I think it is worth it.
