Camping in and around Alberta - where do you go?
I was out at Boulton Creek in Kananaskis Country at the beginning of June. and I'm headed out to Livingstone Falls West of Longview on the Forestry Trunk Road in Mid-July.
In past years I've spent quite a bit of time out near Canal Flats BC, some wonderful free camping out on the forestry roads around there.

As I posted in the "slow posting" thread. We were at the Coburn Community Hall. Coburn Hall - Google Maps
It's a former one room schoolhouse from back around the turn of the century. It lay alongside the original C&E trail wagon route that first linked Calgary and Edmonton by land.
It's not much, just a small building, a couple trees and a big lawn, but it's perfect for summer gatherings.

Good spot for the kid to run around.
