I have an '06 F250 CC SD and the door tag shows a 41 for the axle which comes back as the F350 3.73:1 trans and not an F250. Why would it show that code instead of a 31 or C1 for an F250 and how the heck do I find my tow ratings?

Reason: bad date
Axle codes have nothing to do with F350 or F250, because they have the same axle (assuming SRW).
Your 41 is a 4:10 ratio open differential. You can find the chart in the tech folder. The tech folder doesn't specify, and it should, but you want to use the chart on post #9 for '05 and later trucks.
