Pontiac Firebird: "That chicken car is burning to the ground".
Pontiac Sunbird: "That little chicken car is melting".
Plymouth Satellite: "Earth to future space cadet. Your vehicle is in orbit".
Dodge in general: Isn't "dodge" a synonym for "avoid"?
Datsun: The original joke for this name was that Nissan designers went to Germany and asked Volkswagen for a name for their car line. One of the Germans asked for a timeline, a Nissan executive said tomorrow, and the Volkswagen executive said, "Dat soon?"
Mercury Monarch: I never saw a king or queen in one of these (except for the one with the rainbow flag sticker in San Francisco ....)

Datsun: The way I heard it was..........You bring the piece of crap in for warranty work 2 days after purchase.........A little Japanese man (Service manager) greets you by saying "Ah so!, You bring it back Dat-soon?"
