Not sure how to take that. No, I traded nothing. My diesel dually will be used to tow the fifth wheel and the 250 V10 will be the everyday truck. The V10 just lacked the torque to make a good big trailer mover. To me they are just tools. By the way, I'm not totally unfamiliar with diesel having worked on diesel locomotives for 35 years.
I'm not into truck snobbery. (if that is a real word) Most in that camp, I have found, drive Dodge trucks. For some reason they have a hate for Chevy and Ford, and like to put pictures of Calvin whizzing on their logos. Next come Chevy drivers and their devotion to Duramax and Allison. They work those two words into all conversation. Next on the list are Ford owners. They not only knock Chevy and Dodge but also each other on the subject of power sources, V10 vs Power Stroke.
My full time job now is traveling the world, producing documentary videos. Until you are stuck in a hole in the ground with an Iranian family of 6, in 130 degree sun, waiting for enemy to leave your home, so they don't rape your children and cut off your head..........you have no idea how utterly meaningless this childish rivalry is.
