who orders an f450 without tow package? worse yet,ford built it without it being standard equipment

i do still need to find the two wires (green and a yellow) which are on devoted fuses up in the power distribution box.each on a 5 amp fuse.i'll double check to see if pulling the fuses kills the stop/turn signals out back on the truck.it shouldn't as it says they're for trailer.then if thats the case,it's just a matter of finding those,and tapping them onto my two 14 awg wires i ran.if they do however kill the trucks stop/turn then this means,i needlessly ran devoted 14 awg wires and could have just tapped in at the rear junction.
BLUE = brake 10awg.
ORANGE = 12V+ (key on/run) for battery charge.10 awg.
BROWN/WHITE = running lights.10 awg.
BLACK = ground (this is already run) 10 awg.
RED/YELLOW = backup lights.missing.no where to be found.easy fix however.i'll tap into the trucks backup lights (which is black/pink) at the tow plug/firewall side,and have this trigger a fused relay that i'll install and feed the backup of the tow plug on a devoted 10 awg i ran for it.
YELLOW = left stop/turn
GREEN = right stop/turn

Wow that is silly. I don't understand how making a new(different) harness saved any money over just making ONE harness to cover everything

yeah i know it Brad.i was shocked as heck to see
1.an f450 without tow package.
and 2.a truck without tow package,means all fused and relayed for tow harness,just minus the wire.........but i ain't complaining lol! less work i have to do,to make it tow package.surprises me though.
i mean as noted above,the trailer brake harness is all installed and everything too lol.

hey,i'll have to test this when i have the time,but i wonder if that yellow and green wire right down at the bottom are the stop/turns im looking for?

thats handy subford.what year is that? both my trucks are '93's and neither has the devoted battery charge relay and backup relay boxes to the side there.the f250 came with the tow package too.they must have run the battery charge off the main trailer relay in the power distribution box,and i didn't look to see yet what they did on the tow package truck for the backup lamp circuit.im curious because iv got some large dual backup lights on the dump trailer.
iv got a feeling they may have skimped on this circuit and have it all tied in on just the truck,but i dunno.

Those were for a 1995 but a 1993 would be the same.
I had to get the small relay box off another 1995 PU in a salvage yard along with the wiring from the fire (safety) wall to the rear end as my truck did not come with the other wires either.
But the wiring from the dash plug under the ash tray to the safety wall in the cab should already be there.
If you need the big wiring diagram above bigger and more readable just email me and I will send it to you.
