A/C not always cooling
That just is not enough information to help much. Can you tell if the clutch on the end of the compressor is cycling on and off? You need to put some test gauges on the system. They will measure the pressures of the refrigerant at the inlet and outlet of the compressor. A shop can do this for you or you can buy a cheap set from Harbor Freight and check it yourself. I think someone on the GMC motorhome forum that I belong to said they were about $35.00. That is certainly a cheap set but it should work well enough to get a decent reading on the pressures. Your problem may be nothing more than a low refrigerant charge that is easily fixed but until some pressure readings are taken, you just do not know. Hope this helps.
