New here guys looken for some help
2010 Ford F250 hooked up trailer last night have all lights turn signals etc. when applying brake control says trailer disconnected i checked and regrounded the white ground wire on the trailer and open to suggestions thanks for any help

Make sure you really push the trailer plug into the trucks female recepticle hard,,,and that the lock tab from the cap locks in,,,I recently had to change the the trucks connection(trailer slid on ice smashing into the plug,,,,D'oh)and ever since,,I really have to push them together to stay connected and have no "Check Trailer" message,,,Good Luck,,,Mark

I just bought an 08 f 250. Sometimes driving down the road towing my trailer, I'll get the "trailer disconnected" message. It goes away quickly, so I just ignore it since if the lights are on it's obviously still connected.
