Ok i found out its my sending unit thats bad on my gas guage, thanks all!!! Now my next questions concern ps and pb. Now what all do i need to get power steering on this beast? i work my *** off allday, 5 days a week, i dont like working my *** off driving my toy on the weekends, lol!!! Also can i just put a booster on my brake system and get pb? i dont really care about discs and all yet. Just a little more ease with the brake system.

4x4... do the 78-79 Bronco integral PS swap. Take a look at this site for info: Ford F100 Conversion ... That's a Bronco PS gear but rebuilt to operate in the opposite direction.
2WD? Do a search in this forum for "power steering". There's a ton of info in here but ya gotta mine for it.
In the blue menu bar near the top between "New Posts" and "Quick Links".
Select Advanced Search, then in the Advanced Search specify the 67-72 forum and enter the key words "Power steering swap" or "power steering conversion".
Instead of having to enter yer specs all the time, edit/create your personal signature with the info... .. the user control panel function is also in the blue tool bar all the way to the left.
