I have a 2010 F150 Supercrew with the 6 1/2' bed. What is a good lift kit to get that wont hurt my pocket book too bad? Between 3 and 6 inch lift is what I want. Any ideas or suggestions?

Im going to eventually lift my truck. I will never put a bodylift on a vehicle though. I think its such a terrible idea, and it doesnt give you any more ground clearance or capability on its own.
I hear the BDS 6 inch kit for our trucks is pretty good though. I've seen it on a couple trucks and it looks great with 35s or 37s.

I have had several IFS trucks with BL's. Never had any problems. He asked for economical, the BDS 6" kit is almost $2k uninstalled. And if I can fit 35's on my truck- which I basically have now- with a BL or just a LK how much more ground clearance will you have with a 6" kit and 35's? None. At least not under the axles. But I don't wheel my truck, and don't plan on it so a 3" BL works for me. Just my .02
I'd do a leveling kit over a body lift. A body lift is gonna run you about a thousand installed, and you might have to do a radiator drop, etc. They're not easy on the older F150s.
A leveling kit is gonna be a much better choice, and if you ever wreck the truck, the frame won't kink as easily. My buddy does body work at his shop and just about every truck with a BL that comes in needs a new frame. The bolts don't sheer in most case, but they bend and tweak the frame.

They are easy to do yourself if you're mechanically inclined. What year F150? I did one on my 98 SC and it was a piece of cake. They give you drop brackets in the kit for the rad. For 37's MAYBE a LK and a 3" BL? Not sure if they'll fit, maybe with some trimming or cut-out flares? IDK. I have basically 35's on mine with a 2" LK. Just don't get in a wreck
