Another Turbo Gone.

So my Turbo blew, Good news its under warrenty! Question is? Now that the turbo is new is there a break in period and should I be watching for anything out of the ordinary.

When you say that the turbo "blew" do you mean it had a catastrophic failure and if so what exactly happened?

To your original question--no break-in required.

Being that it's "another" turbo gone, I'd ask the same question about what is meant by "blew", and then I'd ask if this isn't the first one why am I going through so many turbos?

Bad choice of title. This is my first turbo, but since I've become a regular on this site. I've read about turbo issues, others were having. I was traveling down the road 55mph the turbo made a noise and I lost all Power. EGT increased alot, and Oil Pressure dropped to 20psi, Water temp increased. Once that all happened I shut it down and called the wrecker. Mechanic, removed turbo and stated it was ruined.

That's pretty limited info. When a turbo goes, disaster can follow for your engine. What pieces of the turbo blew and did any get into the engine? You can put a brand new turbo on and find out that your engine is NFG.
