About to tackle the fuel canister...
The leak is getting pretty bad. Stopped for quick 'loaf of bread and gallon of milk' at the grocery on the way home from a 20mi ish trip. The puddle was about 8" around. So...I've got a box of o'rings and a new fuel bowl restriction sensor. I replaced the sensor with a plug a few years back. Thinking about the other things I might ought to fix while I'm at it. I know I need to get a set of blue fuel hoses, that seems really dumb to do this and try to reuse the hoses. Considering a fuel pump. Do I gain any access advantage to the fuel pump with the fuel canister out? Not sure what else I might need or do while I'm at this job.

Yes, it has to be easier to do the fuel pump with the canister out, although I have seen some posts saying it can be done without pulling it. I probably wouldn't replace it if it wasn't leaking, though. Its one of those things that you might replace it and the new one would have a problem, so leave well enough alone in my opinion. Can't think of anything else except a good cleaning in the valley so you can see any problems in the future. Whole thing took me about 5 hours - including changing the pump - in the middle of winter. Should only take you 2 or 3 I would think.
