I know a lot of you fix your own displays, but for me, not having to source the resistors and try to solder them without messing anything else up was worth a lot more than $39.
I have no relationship with this vendor, I just thought this info may be helpful to fellow X owners, since all the overhead dispays eventually break.
Nice, mine got fixed before I took delivery from dealer only to break 2 months later. Never wanted to hassel with it. But for 50 bucks ill def get it fixed.
Thanks
Does anyone know of a short that may be a common prob for the locks/overhead display? It went out after a few years, right after the drivers rear long window quit. Had problems with locks. They went out one at a time over a couple weeks. Took it in and they replaces all actuators for a pricey fee. Asked about the dispaly and it was very expensive so I skipped it. When I got it back the long window worked for a day or two and so did the display. Any Ideas?
I know this is an old thread, but I am wondering if I'm unique in the fact that my compass broke again within a couple of years of getting the it fixed by these guys? Has anyone used them lately?
