rpm problem

Question rpm problem

when ever i drive down the road , the rpm level is normal, but when i come to a stop light , i push in the clutch , the rpm level stays around 2400 for about 4 seconds, then very slowly will eventualy drop. anything that will help?

rpm problem

IAC = idle air control valve. On a 2.9L it is on the passengers side of the upper intake manifold. It look like a film canister with a tail on it and two wires. Remove the solenoid (tail) before you clean.
