pull the bulb out and make sure it is good and then put it back in making SURE you line up the pins on the bulb to the grooves in the socket. One pin is higher up on the bulb's base than the other and the grooves are made the same way. I put my bulb in wrong once and it acted the same way. Also, when you check the bulb, make sure the connectors on the bottom of the bulb do not have gashes in them and that the connection loops inside the socket (just look and you will see what I am talking about) are not severed or bent out of shape. hope this helps.
Thanks alot for the help. I pulled the bulb out and put it back in making sure everything was lined up and that fixed the problem. I never would have thought it would have been something that simple. Thanks again.
