HELLO
I currently have a shortbed on my standard cab 88 F-150 4X4, A buddy of mine has a mind condition longbed off of a 87 F-150 he's willing to sell me, but I need to know if it is possible to do this conversion. If anyone has done this or can tell me how to go about doing it, let me know how? Thanks for any help.

It could be done, you would have to take your truck to a shop that does frame work, and have them lengthen your frame and driveshaft. But for the hassle and cost I would buy a junk truck for the frame and use it. Frame shortening and lengthening are common in big trucks, but I don't hear much about that being done in pickups.
