looking at a 6.4

Hey guys im looking at a 2008 f350 with a 6.4 with 33,000 on it. Im just wondering if there is anything i should look out for i.e. injector problems turbo problems and so on. Ony advice would be very helpful.

check the hours on this motor. If it has an average of about 35 mph then that is good. Probably means more hwy time.

Look at the radiator and along the frame down by the radiator for leaks. That is a weak point.

Other issue is the DPF. You want to check the tail pipes. Clean to grayish as most means that that is working good.

Maintance records..and OEM fuel and oil filters. Can it be proved.
