I wanted to ask on here cause i trust yall. i need to replace my exhaust i have it pastched right now but it's gonna fall off again. i was looking at the catback system on LMC because i still have to have the cats where i live. LMC Truck Parts - Page 143 what i want to know is opinions and if anyones ever used it.
That kit doesn't come with a muffler. Not sure in VA, but if you have to have cats, usually a muffler is also required. Not to mention it would prolly drone and be too loud for a DD
My buddy bought one about a month ago, it sounds actually pretty good! If you notice near the Y-pipe on the system, it has a short run of tubing that is flared, that is to either run it like that straight pipe, or you can take that peice out and replace it with a muffler.
Hes running a cat and a cherry bomb extreme on it but its still plenty loud, great quality metal/bends/and perfect fit-up.
ONE NOTE THOUGH:
It comes with clamps, but to save you from headache in the long run, do yourself a favor and weld it instead.
my truck doesnt have any cats and im not sure about muffler (dont see much that looks like one but im not at my truck to really look right now) and it doesnt seem very loud, i assume i have some sort of muffler on the truck at least as i havent put any cherry bombs on it..........................yet....
The muffler I ain't worried about I've ran the truck for 15 years without one inspection guy doesn't look twice you just have to have cats other thing I'm worried about is can I keep my spare an I have a trailer hitch on too
looks like im saving up for it now. i still have to get a new y pipe cause mines bent up and im going to replace my two cats with one high flow then the exhaust.
