No pedal Responce
Hopefully you guys or gals can help me with my problem!
The pedal was feeling "spongy" the other day headed home from work,so I changed the fuel filters about 4000 back, but figured what the heck, and I got some new ones and changed them. Drove down to the gas station,,ran great!!! Got back in after $105 bucks worth,,and no responce from the pedal at all,,,,time for a new throttle positioning sensor,(gas pedal) next day,bolted it on,,Ran Great!! went on to work next morning,,got to the stop sign,,,no pedal responce,,,idled into a drive way,,shut it off and tried to restart about 6 times,on the 7th,started right up,pedal came back,,went to work,,after work,,same,, no pedal,,about 6 more times,tried on the 7th time it started up,pedal came back to life,,drove home,,,got on this site and started reading the information here,,what a bunch!!!! and Thank you a bunch!!!
Finally decided to replace the cam positioning sensor,,,$40 bucks later and 600 cuts to the arm,lost 4 qts. of blood,,,but ran Great,,until tonight

went to go get a pizza about 2 miles down the road and before I shut the truck off I noticed the pedal was spongy reacting and when I got to the parking lot,,the tach was flucuating about 100 rpm down and 100 back positive of normal idle,,,when I came back out with pizza in hand,,,no start or pedal,,,cranked about 4 times,,on the 5th it started,,the pedal comes back to life,and I drive home,I am at my wits end,,,I feel like it is electrical,,but don't know where to go to from here
I don't have a scanner,but no CEL is coming on either,,,
this is on a 04 F250 FX4 loaded, that is as clean as a whistle,,92000 with the fluides changed on a regular bases

ICP= injector control pressure
this sensor monitors HPO= high pressure oil and sends info to pcm to control the IPR [ injector pressure regulator]
